Who will teach you
Hi, I’m Sylwia! In 2013 I went to a Lindy Hop dance for the first time and fell head over heels for it. I have been teaching regularly since 2018 and today I teach at the Swing Avenue Dance School in Warsaw.
I keep developing at workshops abroad, learning from some of the best dancers in the world. In 2024 I fulfilled my biggest dream: at The International Lindy Hop Championships World Finals in the USA, Michał and I won 1st place in the Advanced Strictly division.
In class I value an individual approach and a friendly atmosphere. I care about movement technique, but I always remember that the feeling of joy and carefreeness is the most beautiful thing in Lindy Hop.

Questions from visiting dancers
How much does a private lesson cost?
A single 60-minute lesson is 250 PLN. Both 90-minute sessions, Dance Breakthrough and Leader/Follower Upgrade (for advanced dancers), are 350 PLN. The 4-lesson Dance Floor Confidence package is 900 PLN.
Can I pay in my own currency?
Prices are set in Polish złoty (PLN). Secure card payment via Stripe. Visiting from abroad? Checkout can show the price in your own currency. You can also reserve a date and pay in cash on site.
Are you available on my festival dates?
Ask me before you book: write to me with the dates you are in Warsaw and I will tell you what is possible.
Do I need a partner?
No. Private lessons are one-on-one, so you don’t need a partner — we focus on your technique, leading or following, and musicality.
What level do I need?
Any. I have options for beginners (e.g. the Dance Floor Confidence package) and for advanced dancers (e.g. Leader/Follower Upgrade). I adapt the level to you.
Where do the lessons take place?
In Warsaw, at several trusted dance studios (near Świętokrzyska, in Plaza Tower on Al. Jerozolimskie, at Studio Tańca Rytm, and at Book for Dance / Kino Czary). We pick the location together.
What language are the lessons in?
English or Polish, whichever you prefer.
Is studio rental included in the lesson price?
Yes. Studio rental for the agreed date is included in the lesson price.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule a lesson?
If you cancel or reschedule a lesson, you may need to cover the cost of the previously booked studio, usually 40–60 PLN.
